ALPHA TEST
Introduction
This web-based education tool is designed to provide the basics of good Sales techniques for selling flowers by telephone. Besides teaching the students good Sales techniques, it is the objective of this course to teach the students how to correctly fill the Sales form.
The learners engaged in this interactive lesson are high school students (of age 15-18 years) that represent the normal population of Georgia and have expressed an interest in horticultural and agricultural studies. This interactive lesson is skill based and career oriented because some of the students are currently employed, or will be employed, in the floral industry.
During the development of this interactive tool, it has been constantly reviewed by the client. The development has now been completed and this is now an effort to ensure the efficiency and validity of the program for its intended users.
Alpha test was designed to identify the issues with the program such as- navigation, content, interface etc.

BETA TEST
The purpose of the Beta Test is to test the program effectiveness with the learners. It’s an instrument to know how far the program has been successful in enabling the learning to occur among the target audience.
I made the revisions to the program based on the feedback from the Alpha Test. I then conducted the Alpha Test with three students from the actual target audience. The students were enrolled in the agricultural studies and hope to be employed in the floral industry. Their profiles are presented in the table below:
